UDHAMPUR, Apr 13: Gearing up the campaign, JKDF today held a massive public rally, here today.
Hundreds of party workers including the people from far flung areas of Udhampur participated in the rally, which was the third of the party in the heart of Udhampur during last one month.
The rally addressed by JKDF State president and candidate for Doda-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, Anil Gupta, also witnessed the presence of former Union Minister and MLA Jammu West, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta and other senior leaders of the Party.
While addressing the rally, Anil Gupta said, “This election is the opportunity to regain the lost pride of Dogras and also a chance to defeat the fascist forces (BJP), adding that the defeat of this party is eminent, as it has nothing to offer to people except to make castles in the air and befool people.
He said, the bubble of marketing blown by this party will soon burst into air and nothing will come out of it.
Mr Gupta further said that BJP, the lone opposition party from Jammu had become irrelevant due to its internal feuds and self interests of few of its members who are otherwise serving as the agents of NC and Congress Party.
“The dubious policies of this saffron clad are clearly understood by the masses and now the time has come to teach them a lesson. This party is beating the bushes in the name of ‘Narendra Modi’ only and there is nothing which the party claims to have achieved during all these years,” Mr Gupta expressed.
He said, JKDF is the only party which has a vision to guide the Jammu towards the path of development, prosperity and firm resolve to build a new Jammu, adding that their aim is to fight for the justice, and equal rights of all the three regions of the State.
While taking a dig at NC and Congress, former Union Minister and MLA, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta said, “The giant of corruption has been allowed to eat vital organs of this State by this Government. Hardly any Department is unaffected by this virus. The graph of corruption and nepotism is at its peak during the past six years of this regime”.
He further said that the indulgence of the Ministers of Coalition Government in one after another scandals, communal violence and unethical behaviour has become the routine and is touching news headlines every day.
JKDF appealed the people to teach these parties a lesson on March 17, 2014 and vote for the honest candidates to ensure stable and corruption free Government.
