JAMMU, May 20: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has issued letter of appreciation to the Chairman J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) Janak Raj Angural as Corona Warrior for tackling COVID-19 pandemic.
In this regard BJP UT Unit team headed by SSP (Retd) Bhupinder Singh Incharge Grievance cell BJP HQ Trikuta Nagar Jammu and Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta under presidentship of Ravinder Raina handed over the appreciation letter to the Chairman J&K Grameen Bank for doing excellent job as Corona Warrior in the presence of General Manager DK Bali, Chief AI&V DD Gupta and staff posted at Head Office Narwal Jammu.
Chairman JKGB thanked BJP leaders for their noble gesture and also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his appreciation to the warriors, as this kind of gesture will boost the morale of the employees and encourage them to serve the mankind with more passion.
He appreciated COVID-19 Task Force Committee of the bank for issuing timely guidelines for smooth functioning of branches across the UT and all the staff members of the bank for coming together in carrying out their part of responsibility and duties as a warrior during this hour of crisis.
“We also salute the warriors of medical, police and other fraternities who played a vital role in providing all the essential services to public during the crisis. We endeavour to continue to work with same zeal in providing uninterrupted essential banking service to valuable customers, thereby following the instructions issued by GOI and Administration of UT J&K from time to time”, Chairman added.
