JAMMU, Jan 18: ‘Yuva Kranti Yatra’, a nationwide massive public outreach campaign, today evening reached Lakhanpur under the leadership of IYC National President, Keshav Chand Yadav and National Vice President IYC, Srinivas B.V.
A handout informed that the Yatra was started on Nov 26 from Kanyakumari and will reach the National Capital on Martyrs’ Day on January 30 after covering all the States.
It will cover all the states of North-East India, moving towards Jammu and Kashmir and will conclude Delhi at Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, Rajghat.
At Lakhanpur, the Yatra was received by Manohar Lal DCC President Kathua, PYC President J&K Uday Bhanu Chib, PYC Vice Presidents Pankaj Basotra and others.
Speaking on the occasion, IYC National President said that the motive behind the Yatra is to end social discrimination, to seek accountability on raising unemployment, price hike, famers’ distress, rising incidents of violence against women and corruption.
On this occasion, Srinivas B.V, National Vice President IYC, said that BJP-led Central Government is leaving no stone unturned to divide India on the basis of religion.
Uday Bhanu Chib, PYC President J&K said the Yatra is there to highlight failures of the ruling dispensation and to unite the voice of the youth of our nation.
