DODA, June 14: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Mohd Sharief Niaz, today said that BJP is fostering communal tension in J&K through organizations like RSS, VHP and others.
He was addressing a huge rally organized by Block Congress Committee, Bhallessa, against Government policies. He said that Modi who pretends to be a secular leader does not take action against BJP ministers like Sakshi Mahraj and Sadhvi who have spread venom lately.
Niaz said that during previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections BJP had blamed Congress for not checking price rise and now BJP Government itself has failed in reducing inflation, as promised by BJP leaders during elections. He alleged that the public of whole State is facing hardship due to high price rise.
“To give job to educated youth within 100 days was slogan of BJP and PDP before elections but they have forgotten it now and have shown no roadmap for last many months to deal with unemployment”, he said and blamed Government for turning blind eye towards bringing back black money stashed abroad.
The former Minister said that corruption has increased in all departments especially in CAPD and demanded that immediate action be taken against such corrupt employees. He also sought action against those organizing political programmes in schools.
Niaz demanded that due wages must be paid to employees, daily wagers before Ramazan which is pending for last more than nine months and ration be provided to general public as per census 2011.
Prominent among those who attended the rally were Nadeem Sharief, secretary publicity, Jammu Kashmir Congress Committee, Om Prakash Parihar, Block Congress president Bhallessa, Haji Shahdin, Bodh Raj Chib and Bal Krishan Pathania.
