Shopian, Dec 16: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) elected district and constituency presidents in South Kashmir’s Shopian, today.
The party has announced the results in a function held at Circuit House Shopian and Town Hall Pulwama.
These people have been elected to look after the party affairs in these districts.
The elections were held in presence of BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, in which all the booth level presidents cast their votes.
While speaking on the occasion Koul said the party was always for the welfare of people. “We believe treating people of different regions equal. And to provide them equal opportunities is BJP’s mission,” he added.
Koul also addressed the party workers at Townhall Pulwama. He said that the agenda of coalition Government is development of the State and welfare of its people.
Ashok Koul was accompanied by State Secretary Haleema Ji Media Incharge Altaf Thakur President South Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Dar, Protocol Incharge Arif Raja,General Seceratary South Kashmir Muzaffar Kutto Senior leaders Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Rafiq wani, Avtar Singh, Shanawaz Ahmad Riyaz Ahmad Mir, Khurshid Malik, Gulzar Nengroo.
