BJP fails to fulfill people’s expectations despite huge mandate: AAP

JAMMU, July 11: BJP has miserably failed to fulfill the expectations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir despite getting a huge mandate in the last Assembly polls.
This was stated by Pardeep Mittal, Provincial Co Incharge AAP during a party event here at Chatha wherein several sarpanchs and panchs including Dr Parvinder Singh Happy sitting Sarpanch, who was earlier associated with BJP, joined AAP along with a large number of supporters. Those who joined the party fold include BJP Sarpanch Balwinder Singh Khush, Naib Sarpanch Bahadur Choudhary, Naib Sarpanch Sardar Tatinder Singh, senior leaders Balkrishna and Ashok Kumar, former Councilor Gandhi Singh, Panch Sunil Lange, former Panch Surendra Singh, former Panch Rajkumar, Bishan Das Retired Deputy Director, Kulbir Singh President Gurdwara Govindpura Sahib, Amrik Singh social worker, Sansar Chand, Bachchan Lal and many others joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with their supporters.
Pardeep Mittal was the chief guest on the occasion. He said that people in the UT are fed up by the Jumlebaazi of the BJP leadership and bogus promises of Congress and other parties ruling the region in the past. He said that only AAP can provide succor to the people as there are two models before the people, the first one in Delhi and the recent in Punjab where common man has taken a sigh of relief by the public welfare schemes initiated by the AAP governments.
Speaking on the occasion, AAP leader Taranjit Singh Tony said that party under the leadership of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has emerged as a ray of hope for the people of J&K, who are confronting sky-rocketing inflation, poor health, education and civic infra, and above all phlegmatic approach of conventional political leadership which seldom cares for the plight of common man.
Dr P.S Happy vowed to work in the direction of making AAP a force to reckon with in the UT of J&K. He said that people in large numbers are ready to come into the party fold due to its revolutionary policies addressing the cause of the common man.
Reena Choudhary, senior Women leader of AAP and sitting Sarpanch Raipur Camp Samba also spoke on the occasion.
