MARH, June 19: A meeting of NC District Jammu Rural-A SC Cell was held at Block Phallaian Mandal in Marh Constituency under the chairmanship of Ram Lal Lakhotra, District president Jammu Rural-A (SC Cell) in which Vijay Lochan, provincial president SC Cell Jammu was chief guest.
In the meeting discussion was held regarding present political scenario in Jammu region particularly in border belt of Marh.
Addressing the meeting Vijay Lochan said that border areas of Jammu District are being ignored as facilities like drinking water supply, electricity and condition of roads is poor there.
“Old age, widow and handicapped pension has been totally stopped by the government and these needy people are in great trouble during these days,” Lochan said.
Baldev Raj, vice president NC Jammu Province (SC Cell) said that downtrodden and depressed section of the society is badly ignored in the regime of BJP.
On this occasion District NC president SC Cell, Ram Lal Lakhotra nominated Ramesh Kumar as Block president Phallaian Mandal (SC Cell) and Sham Lal, senior vice president Block Phallaian Mandal NC (SC Cell) District Jammu Rural-A.
Those who were present in the meeting were Banarsi Dass, Mulk Raj, Devi Ditta, Master Suram Chand, Madan Lal Panch, Suman Lata Panch, Tilak Raj, Rampal, Gori Sankar, Harish and others.
