BJP ditched mandate of Jammu region: Youth Congress

JAMMU, Feb 11: State general secretary of Youth Congress, Nimrandeep Singh Bhullar today said that BJP have ditched the mandate of Jammu region and surrendered the aspirations of people who voted whole heartedly for seeking justice and equality in the State.
He was speaking during ‘Chalo Panchayat Abhiyaan’ programme at Suchetgarh and RS Pura. The programme was organized by the party with an aim to listen to the grievances of people living in various Panchayats across the State.
PYC vice-presidents Pankaj Basotra, general secretary Chetan Wanchoo and secretary Brinder Pratap Batyal were also present on the occasion. The Youth Congress leaders also launched the campaign ‘Yuva Shakti Card’ and ‘Kisaan Maang Patra’ for the benefit of the youths and farmers of the State.
Nimrandeep Singh said that the ‘Chalo Panchayat Abhiyaan’ was introduced with an aim to get connected with the youths and farmers. He said the aim is to cover all the Panchayats before the elections and interact with the youths and farmers to know about their problems.
“We will touch the people and get to know about their problems before the elections,” Pankaj Basotra said while Chetan Wanchoo criticized the BJP led Government at the Centre for its failure to address the problems being faced by the people residing in rural/border areas.
Prominent people present on the occasion were Choudhary Satpal, Tilak Raj, Choudhary Narinder Singh, Rishipal Choudhary, Vicky Choudhary, Suraj Singh, Sham Lal, Pritam Singh, Ashok Choudhary and many others.
