BJP disappointed youth, Govt employees: Mula Ram

KATRA/REASI, Apr 14: Senior PCC leader and former Minister, Mula Ram has alleged that BJP led Government has disappointed youth and employees in the country during its rule.
Addressing election meetings in Katra, Panthal and Reasi area today, Mula Ram alleged that youth, employees and farmers in the country have remained most neglected by the BJP regime. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised 2 crore jobs every year for the youth of the country, but after five years even 2 crore jobs could not be provided by BJP Government.
He lauded Rahul Gandhi for ensuring a minimum income of Rs 72,000 per year for the poorest 20 per cent of India’s population and said it will help in removing poverty in the country.
While seeking support for Congress candidate from Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary constituency Vikramaditya, Mula Ram said that NYAY scheme is aimed to empower the poor by guaranteeing minimum income of Rs 72,000 per annum if the Congress was voted to power. He also referred to numerous achievements of UPA 1st and UPA- 2nd and said that tremendous development had benefitted each and every section of society, throughout the State and these development activities are visible even in present.
The former Minister said that the manifesto released by the Congress high command is dedicated to people of the country. He said that Congress in its manifesto has committed to provide free education up to Class 12th, 33 per cent reservation to women which could not provide under the regime of BJP Government.
Hari Singh Chib, DCC Jammu Rural president, accused previous government of befooling people of the State by making false claims regarding development. He said that BJP surrendered for the sake of power marring the interests of Jammu youth and compromised on its commitments merely to remain in power.
He regretted that BJP with whom the under-employed youth had pinned high hopes grossly failed to release the long pending wages.
Rakash Wazir Member PCC and Chairman Commerce and Tourism, Rajinder Singh Corporator, Surinder Bhagat District president SC Cell Congress, Sarpanch Sham Lal, ex-Sarpanch Rattan Singh and others also were present.
