JAMMU, Jan 28: Terming the stand taken by Central Government most insidious, ex-MLA and NPP president, Balwant Singh Mankotia today alleged that BJP has crossed the height of appeasement by announcing the new surrender policy for the lust of power.
“Militancy is a security threat for the people of country but unfortunately BJP has totally bowed down before the militants and anti-national elements and dancing on their tunes,” he said. He reminded that when BJP was in opposition, its leaders used to teach the lesson of patriotism to the people of country. But after assuming power in State and Centre, the saffron party has totally surrendered before militants and anti-national elements for the lust of power.
Criticising the decision of Central Government, Mankotia claimed that previous Governments also introduced surrender policy but BJP has crossed all limits of appeasements by announcing reward for the families and friends of the militants who surrender before the security forces. “These militants and anti-national elements have become security threat for general public but ruling party is extending mercy to them.
Central Govt ruled by BJP not only announced new rehabilitation policy by introducing reward for the families and friends of militants but amazingly using cane charge against the protesting unemployed educated youth of Jammu region,” he said and added that these protesting educated unemployed youth are demanding due share in employment as Coalition Government in State is only giving 5 to 7 percent share in employment sector.
