JAMMU, Jan 9: State BJP vice-president Yudhvir Sethi today said that addressing aspirations of common masses was high on the agenda of the present coalition Government and all out efforts were afoot to ensure that issues concerning people are resolved on priority basis by the administration.
“People have high hopes from the party as they know in a short span major projects and issues concerning Jammu region have been kickstarted in the recent past and very soon the city of temples would become hub of tourism and education,” he said while addressing a deputation of women from the Jammu East constituency, here today.
The deputation put forth issues concerning womenfolk of the area and called for early resolution of the demands. The demands put forth inter alia included, early clearance of different type of pension and social welfare grant cases, development issues, cleanliness and hygiene problems, augmentation of potable water and problems concerning power development department.
While giving patient hearing to the deputation, Yudhvir said that the problems and issues raised by women would be taken up with the concerned authorities and assured that genuine grievances would be addressed in a time bound manner.
Among those, who were present on the occasion, included, Neeru Anand (State secy Mahila Morcha BJP) Savita Anand (district general secretary Mahila Morcha BJP) Saroj Gupta , Sharda Devi , Kailash Choudhary, Kiran Aggarwal, Surinder Kour, Surekha, Manju Gupta, Sandhya Sethi, Rama, Usha, Madhu, Pushpa, Asha, Rama Kohli, Rama Gupta, Sapna, Prem, Anuradha and Geeta.
