JAMMU, Nov 13: BJP held a meeting at party headquarters here, today to discuss the strategy for the forthcoming Panchayat elections in the State and ensure the victory of the party. The meeting was conducted by party State president Sat Sharma and general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, stressed on the organization of the party cadre up to every single Panch level. The meeting focused that effective teams of workers on every single Panch Segment will be a key to victory of the party. While terming the Panchayat as a system of grass root level governance, he prompted the party leaders to ensure the reach of party to every single household, so as to impress upon the people that the BJP is the only nationalist party working with the sole aim and objective of serving the society to uplift the status of last man living in the most difficult terrain of the region.
He asked all the party leaders present in the meeting to ensure the formula of 50 activists per Panch segment to broaden the party base in the urban, sub-urban as well as rural level.
Ashok Kaul stressed on the working system of the party and said that the good governance can be achieved with the high workman spirit of the party cadre. He assured the party men of all possible organizational help from the senior leaders and focused on the formation of committees of active party workers to ensure the party candidates as elected candidates in the elections.
He said that the BJP has to win the elections not for the party, but for the welfare of people.
Sanjay Baru, Suraj Singh, Pawan Sharma, Brijeshwar Singh Rana, Omi Khajuria, Jangbir Singh, Nand Kishore, Jugal Dogra, Vikas Choudhary, Naresh Sharma were among the prominent persons who attended the meeting.
