KATHUA, May 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has celebrated the sanctioning of 100 medical seats in Government Medical College Kathua.
The BJP activists led by District President Prem Nath Dogra assembled at Mukherjee Chowk here and celebrate the victory by dancing on the tunes of dum beats. They also distributed the sweets among the people.
While addressing the gathering, Prem Nath Dogra congratulated the people of Kathua for this milestone. He thanked Member Parliament Dr Jitendra Singh, whose efforts bear the fruits and 100 medical seats got sanctioned for GMC Kathua.
“Dr Singh is fulfilling the promises made with the people”, Dogra said, adding that many projects including Kerrian Gandyal bridge, Shahpur Kandi project, Pandoori bridge, Bio Tech Park Ghatti, numbers of road project under PMGSY and CRF, Engineering College, Medical College, Polytechnic College, Chatter Gala tunnel and many more other project got Centre’s nod by the efforts of Dr Jitendra Singh.
Among others present were Naresh Sharma, MC President, Rekha Kumari MC Vice President, Sanjiv Vaid, Rahul Kumar, Karan Singh, Anirudh, Indu Partap, President Mahila Morcha, Pushpa Kumari, etc.
