JAMMU, Apr 12: Jammu  and Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) State president and candidate for Kathua-Udhampur-Doda constituency Anil Gupta said that BJP will suffer a humiliating defeat in this constituency, as its candidate is not remotely connected with the people. BJP candidate’s lone qualification is that he is a Doctor who has voluntarily resigned from Government service to enjoy private practice, Gupta added.
Even there is not an iota of record that he has offered free consultancy to poor and downtrodden as part of moral duty towards the society, he said.
Refuting the hollow claims of Congress and its Lok Sabha candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad of bringing the drastic improvement in the health infrastructure of State, Gupta said Azad should visit the villages of Basohli and upper reaches of Bani to assess the ground situation.
While taking a dig at BJP, Anil Gupta said it has no modus operandi to guide the nation towards path of peace and prosperity, instead it is catching the issues of corruption and scandals by Congress to which this party has equally contributed.
Referring to controversy over Article 370, He said BJP has confused the people over its stand.
Both Congress and BJP in connivance with ruling parties have always betrayed the people of Jammu.
Only local representative can provide a transparent and growth oriented representation and reflect the problems in Parliament effectively, he said.
JKDF is for equal development, justice and rights of all the districts of this constituency and shall work for providing the employment to youth in Central Government Departments and country’s armed forces.
