JAMMU, Mar 26: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said today the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency has been accused of murder.
Without naming BJP candidate for Jammu seat Jugal Kishore Sharma, who also happened to be the State BJP president, Omar wrote on twitter: “I’m not sure why the BJP is taking a holier than thou attitude. Their Jammu candidate stands accused of murder.
“If in this case the absence of a conviction is the fig leaf they needed to nominate him how come that can’t apply to others’’.
