UDHAMPUR, July 3:- Ranbir Singh Pathania, BJP spokesperson while conducting grievance redressal proceedings at party headquarters, Udhampur said unlike the other political parties which are into the habit of going to the people after five years only, BJP believes in keeping close contact with people on 24×7 basis. That is why the grievance redressal mechanisms has been set up by BJP from national level up to State and district level. He said more so, the party activists and senior leaders have also been asked and trained to maintain constant touch with the people.
While addressing public issues Pathania called for timely providing of drinking water supply in rural areas of Udhampur. He said that due to recent unscheduled electricity cuts, drinking water supply has been impaired in major parts of Udhampur. He called for proper coordination between mechanical and civil wings to ensure hassle free drinking water supply.
He called upon the Department of PDD to refrain from resorting to unscheduled power cuts. These unscheduled power cuts and drinking water supply issues create a big question mark on the credibility of the Jal Shakti Department as well as the PDD.
Other issues included installation of hand pump in village Sunari, metalled road under NABARD from Jagote to GHSS Barta via Muzoom, proper maintenance of roads, irrigation canals in rainy seasons.
Jattu Ram DDC Ramnagar-II and Pinky Devi DDC Latti Marothi were present during the grievances redressal proceedings.
During another function at Balpur Nakki scores of people joined BJP after being impressed by the policies and programmes of party. Pathania while addressing new entrants said that the people are core of the nation. The Union Government and its public friendly measures have increased the faith of the people in democratic credentials of the country. Days are no more when elected PMs’ have expressed despair that only 15% of the amount goes to the people and 85% pilferaged midway. People have full faith and satisfaction over policies and programmes of Modi Sarkar.
