BJP always raised voice against discrimination: Kavinder

JAMMU, Dec 10: BJP candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency Kavinder Gupta along with the senior leaders of the party undertook door-to-door campaigning in Raipur-Satwari, addressed public meetings at Digiana and Sanjay Nagar and also opened election office at Bhour Camp in presence of a large number of people and party activists.
Kavinder Gupta, while seeking votes of the people, said that Jammu and Kashmir has suffered a lot during the last over 60 years by the successive Kashmir centric Governments.
The Jammu and Ladakh regions suffered the most due to the discriminatory policies of these Governments, he said, adding that it was BJP and is still BJP which always raised voice against this discrimination.
He said that the Congress, NC and PDP, never utter a single word on discrimination but at the time of elections, these parties change their tones to display as they are the only well wishers of the people of Jammu.
Gupta also charged the Congress MLA of Gandhi Nagar for creating hype on the name of development, which on ground is contrary to the claims made during the last six years.
He said that many areas still lack even basic amenities and the people there have anger and resentment, which is going to result into defeat of the sitting MLA. He added that the BJP is going to form the Government in the State and the days of miseries and problems will be over.
