JAMMU, Sept 6: Birth anniversary of Swami Kashi Bub Ji Maharaj was observed at Swami Nand Bub Ashram near here with religious fervour and gaiety today.
In this occasion a Maha Yagya was performed which started yesterday and concluded with Puranahuti today. The devotees were served with prashad after Puranahuti.
Swami Kumar Ji, Swami Chaman Lal Bamzai and Swami Anand Bai Jan also attended the function and paid their obeisance to Swami Kashi Bub.
Ashok Kaul Organisational general secretary BJP and B L Bhat liaison officer, KOA were also present on the occasion and they were felicitated by Swami Kashi Bub Ji Memorial Trust which organized the function.
As a precedence, the mementos were given to three meritorious students of village Hugam who have secured above 90 percent marks in different classes.
Speaking on the occasion chairman of the Trust Bushan Lal Dhar dwelt at length on the importance of Bhagwat Gita and urged the participants to follow the teachings of Swami Kashi Bub.
President of the Trust B L Dhar and its patron Chaman Lal Dhar made welcome address and presented vote of thanks respectively.
