JAMMU, Feb 18: Birth anniversary of renowned reformer Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji was today celebrated here at Arya Samaj temple Rehari Colony.
The celebrations started in the morning with Hawan after which different speakers spoke on the life, sacrifices and teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji.
Speaking on the occasion Kuldeep Gupta, President of Arya Samaj temple Rehari Colony said, teachings of Swami Ji are even relevant today and can lead our lives towards righteousness and peace.
The function concluded with a Langar wherein devotees were served food.
All the office bearers of Arya Samaj temple Rehari Colony and many locals apart from others were also present on the occasion.
