JAMMU, Dec 3: University unit of National Secular Forum (NSF) observed birth anniversary of Khudiram Bose amid slogans ‘Khudiram Bose Amar Rahe’ ‘Inqulaab Zindabad’, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and paid tribute to him by garlanding his portrait at University campus, here today.
Dr Vikas Sharma Zonal secretary JKNC was the chief guest and Dr TR Sharma (Retd KAS) presided over the function and Dr Sukhdev Singh president NSF was the guest of honour.
Dr Vikas Sharma said that the right tribute to the freedom fighter would be to launch the struggle for restoration of full status of J&K State. “Youth is very disturbed due to wrong policies of the Govt, while the graph of unemployment is growing fast,” he said.
He also mentioned that during the NC Government, jobs were provided to a large number of youth, RTI Act was enacted to eradicate corruption and several other revolutionary steps were taken to push J&K on the path of development.
TR Sharma, Dr Sukhdev Singh, Vikshay Vashist along with other office bearers of the NSF also paid homage to Bose on his birth anniversary.
