JAMMU, Sept 3: The birth anniversary of Swami Kashi Bub Maharaj a great saint was celebrated with fervor and gaiety by his disciples and devotees today.
In his connection a function was organized by Kashi Bub Ji Maharaj Trust Hugam Anantnag at Sharda Temple Bantalab. A Maha Yagya was also solemnized on the occasion by the Trust which started yesterday evening and culminated with Puranahuti this afternoon.
A large number of devotees attended the function and they were served prashad after Puranahuti. Swami Kumar Ji and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina and D C Relief also attended the function.
On the occasion, chairman of the Trust Bushan Lal Dhar threw light on the spiritual life of Swami Ji. Avtar Hugami, B L Dhar and Badri Nath Tickoo also spoke on the life of Swami Ji. As a precedence the mementos were given to four meritorious persons of the Biradri. Vote of thanks was proposed by president of the Trust, Chaman Lal Dhar while welcome address was given by Sameer Bhat.
