UDHAMPUR, June 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and coordinator of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan Program, district Udhampur, Baldev Singh Billawaria held a meeting to review the ongoing works under a Public Outreach Programme of 75 hours on the completion of eight years of Modi Government at BJP district office, Udhampur.
The meeting was organised under the leadership of BJP district president Udhampur, Purna Chand, while DDC members, councilors of Udhampur Municipality, BJP district office bearers, BJP Mahila Morcha president, Kisan Morcha president, Mandal president and senior workers were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria urged the workers that no area of Udhampur district should be deprived of the report card of achievements of the Modi Government and welfare schemes. He also called upon the workers to ensure the participation of a large number of people to make the rally successful to be held on June 12 in Udhampur district. He said that the Modi Government has done unprecedented work in eight years, which is the responsibility of every BJP worker to reach door to door. Billawaria said that during the Corona crisis, national president BJP, JP Nadda and State president, Ravinder Raina gave the slogan of “Seva Hi Sangathan’. Under this slogan BJP workers worked with dedication and full devotion. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi under Seva Hi Sangathan gave a call that no poor will sleep hungry and launched the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana to provide five kgs of food grains free of cost to 80 crore people.
He said that Prime Minister, Modi led the country successfully during the Corona crisis. In those horrific times when the whole world was apprehensive and panicked, Prime Minister encouraged the scientists of the country and made them realize that the whole country is with you and our scientists have prepared not one, but two vaccines, he added.
The Prime Minister has freed the poor from the worries through the Ayushman Bharat scheme and they are getting free treatment up to five lakhs. The standard of living of the poor has been raised by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, whereas the life of the women has become easier with the Ujjwala scheme.
