JAMMU, Oct 6: To provide best infrastructure facilities to the residents of RS Pura-Jammu South Assembly Constituency at their doorstep, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria kick-started the work of deep drain at Ward Number 56, Sant Enclave.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that few days back during his visit, the inhabitants and local residents apprised that they are suffering water logging system. He said that the long standing demand of the people has been fulfilled with the commencement of the drainage work.
He said that work will be executed by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). He said that the JMC has to get all the development works done afresh on which the previous Congress coalition Government had spent money like water.
Billawaria said that JMC is ensuring total quality of work in Jammu city and it will give relief to the people for decades not years. He said there is no previous Government has done development work in Jammu city whereas at the center Modi Government has done in few years.
While appealing to the people to make new voter cards, Billawaria said that BLOs will be present at the booths on every Saturday and Sunday till November 25. Anyone who has any kind of error in his or her voter ID card can also get it rectified to visit booth.
He said that Voter I-Card is not only being used for casting votes but also for other purposes such as opening an account in a bank, getting prepaid or postpaid mobile connection, car finance etc.
On the occasion, Ranjit Singh, Sunil Sharma, Gurcharan Singh, Kala Choudhary and many other dignitaries were present.
