JAMMU, June 17: BJP senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria today kick-started tile laying work at Sector-6, Ward No-56 Gangyal in Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Billawaria started the construction work of the lane at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh. He said that shortage of funds will not hamper the pace of development in Gangyal and whatever development work will be done in the area will be sustainable. He said that the impact of the development works is now visible on ground.
He assured that all links and major roads in Gandhi Nagar constituency will be upgraded in a phased manner. He asked the concerned authorities to complete all ongoing developmental works in a time bound manner.
Billawaria further said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is working to make the lives of people easier and every effort will be made to make people and their lives better and comfortable. He said that no Government has done so much development work till date, as has been done by the Modi Government at the Centre. The people in general and social workers of the area in particular complimented Billawaria for starting the work of the lane. Mandal president, Bharat Bhushan, Ranjit Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Mulkh Raj, Banarsi Lal, Suresh Kumar, Jatinder Singh, Rajinder Jamwal, Hardeep Singh, Darshan Lal, Banarsi Lal were also present on this occasion.
