UDHAMPUR, Oct 18: A motorcyclist was killed after his bike was hit by an unknown vehicle at Garnai on Jammu-Udhampur National Highway near here today.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Kumar (22), son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Mand village in Tikri. The accident took place when the boy was going on the bike towards his home. The locals of the area shifted the injured to PHC Tikri where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital, Jammu but he died during treatment. Later, his body was sent for postmortem to District Hospital here. The police has taken cognizance.
