SAMBA, Dec 20: A motor-cyclist was killed after he was hit by a tractor trolley at 17 Miles, near Vijaypur on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place at around 3.15 pm. The bike collided with a tractor trolley which was entering highway from a link road. Critically injured bike-rider was rushed to Vijaypur hospital where doctors declared him as dead. He was identified as Romesh Lal, son of Ram Ditta, resident of village Almeri in Vijaypur. The police seized the trolley and arrested its driver. A case was registered in this connection.
