REASI, Mar 28: Chief patron of National Panthers Party (NPP) and party candidate from Udhampur-Doda seat Prof Bhim Singh has alleged that Omar Abdullah led Coalition Government has failed to ensure essential supplies to the people of remote areas like Mahore and Gool as the public is facing severe crisis of ration, electricity and water.
Addressing public meetings at Chasana, Mahore, Dharmari and Arnas area today, the NPP leader appealed the people to vote for NPP as it was the only party which can provide justice to them. He alleged that Congress, National Conference and even BJP have always exploited people for their vote bank and they have never bothered for the miseries of the people. He claimed that in many part of Mahore, Gool and parts of Reasi, the people are still living in stone age.
The NPP leader further alleged that respective Governments have neglected many parts of this district. There is no adequate supply of ration. Long unscheduled power cuts and poor water supply has made the life of the people miserable. This Government has failed to ensure adequate essential supplies to the public.
Referring to the incidents of militants attack at Hiranagar, few months back and today at Dayala Chak and Janglote area, the NPP leader alleged that Omar Abdullah has become security risk to the State and his Government should be dismissed. He demanded that Government N N Vohra should exercise his powers to dismiss Omar Government. He alleged that coalition Government has failed to stop death and destruction in the State.
Prof Bhim alleged that both Congress and NC in the State have been playing see-saw with the Union Government to cover up their own failures. This is evident from the tragic incidents in Kathua. He pointed out that there was severe electricity crisis in Rajouri and Poonch and the people have been left to suffer and pay only bills while the electricity is hardly available for 7-8 hours a day. He demanded support for NPP from Jammu-Poonch and Udhampur-Doda seat.
