BHADERWAH, July 2:   In its endeavour to intensify its agitation for restoration of Sub District Hospital (SDH) in its old complex besides developing the new hospital on Soura pattern as promised by then Chief Minister and incumbent Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Bhaderwah Hospital Bachao front (BHBF) is going to organize a rally on July 9.
This was disclosed by the Front convener, Ranbir Manhas during a press conference held here today. According to Manhas the Front wanted to organise this rally on July 14 when Front’s dharna would enter 11th month, but in view of holy Ramzan commencing on July 9, the rally has been pre-poned.
He claimed that the rally will serve as a reminder to the Union Health Minister about his recent promise to establish a PHC along with round the clock emergency services that he had made on May 14, 2013 while interacting with local media and some deputations including one belonging to Senior Citizens Welfare Forum.
“Though the Front is not satisfied with new announcement, we had hailed it in broader public interest. Since two months have already lapsed without any formal order in this respect, the Front deems it necessary to remind the Union Health Minister about his new promise fearing that the manner in which its implementation is being delayed, it may also meet the same fate as his earlier promise of making the new hospital a referral hospital has met”, he alleged.
“The Front may also give a call of bandh and chakka jam”, the Front convener added.
