BHADERWAH, Mar 12: In the process of involving more and more people in its mission of getting restored Sub-District Hospital, Bhaderwah in its old complex, Bhaderwah Hospital Bachao Front (BHBF) constituted village committees for Nalthi and Khaloo-Bhalra Panchayats, here today.
The committees were announced by convener of BHBF, Ranbir Manhas, who along with other leaders of the Front visited the said villages.
The committee of Bharla-Khaloo Panchayat comprised of Gian Chand Dogra as patron, Surinder Singh as president, Feroz Chand as general secretary, Mohd Iqbal Sheikh and Bodh Raj as vice presidents, Balwan Singh as secretary, Ghulab Nabi Sheikh as joint secretary while the members of executive committee included Sachin Sanbyal, Hushair Singh, Puran Chand, Mohd Farooq, Mohd Ashraf, Girdhari Lal, Dharam Singh, Ishtyaq Ahmed, Manjeet Singh and Bodh Raj.
For Nalthi village committee, Om Prakash Manhas was nominated as president, Prithvi Raj Manhas and Shadi Lal Bhagat as vice-presidents, Devi Ram Bhagat as general secretary and Neeraj Padha and Aman Kumar as secretaries. The seven-member executive committee of the village was also nominated, which comprised of Vishal Manhas, Ankush Manhas, Rajni Kant, Kashmir Singh, Raj Kumar, Satish Kumar and Bobi Kumar.
Meanwhile, the first phase of committee-wise dharna in the old Hospital Complex concluded today with committee of Sharekhi-Bheja sitting on dharna under the chairmanship of Jan Mohd. Yesterday, the committee of Basti Kholra had joined the dharna under the leadership of its patron Ram Prashad Manhas.
The patron of the Front also announced that the proposed protest rally of March 15 had been postponed to March 18 in view of Friday falling on March 15.
