BHADERWAH, May 19: Bhaderwah Hospital Bachao Front (BHBF) has criticized hospital authorities for not implementing High Court order wherein the State Health Department has been asked to provide round the clock emergency services in the Old Hospital complex Bhaderwah while disposing off a PIL filed by the Front.
The people and activists of BHBF assembled outside Sub Disrict Hospital here, held protest and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
“The authorities are compelling people of Bhaderwah to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the Health Department on one hand and on the other hand restart the agitation”, said Front convener Ranbir Manhas.
He informed that before taking any hard steps the core committee has decided to approach the concerned BMO and CMO to discuss the public problems being faced by the people due to inadequate medical facilities provided in the Old Hospital and if authorities failed to do the needful hard steps would be taken.
Manhas further stated that a deputation of senior Front leaders comprising Choudhary Iqbal, Des Raj Manhas, Salim Butt, Raj Singh Charak, Kalyan Singh and Abdul Haq Zargar has been constituted to meet the concerned authorities.
The future course of action would follow after the deputation furnishes its detailed report on the issue, he added.
