Jammu, Feb 12: A public meeting of the members of Baghwatpora Hindu Biradari (BHB) of tehsil Handwara district, Kupwara was held at Hazuri Bagh, here under the chairmanship of Ashok Pandita.
A charitable trust by the name Bhageshori Mata Badrakali Austhapan ( an abode of Bramha, Vaishno and Mahesh ) was established.
It was unanimously decided in the meeting that Ashok Pandita will be the chairman of the trust while Vijay Mahajan as vice chairman, Sanjay Pandita will be general secretary and Rakesh Pandita as the treasurer of the trust.
The trust will work for maintaining historical and ancient holy shrine in the village, to preserve cultural and religious ethos of Kashmir and to help genuine patients who suffer from dreaded diseases and help the poor and needy.
