JAMMU, Sept 20: The series of Hawans organized by Mata Bhawani Shori Asthapan Committee Chandpora, Harwan, Srinagar concluded today with solemnization of Mahayagyas at holy Jawala Ji Shrine at Khrew in South Kashmir district of Pampore.
The series of hawans started with performing of a Mahayagya at Bhawani Shori Asthapan Chanpora Harwan on Veth Truvah falling on September 17. The Hawan was held in connection of the Jyanti of the Mata. It was followed by performing of hawans at Mata Kher Bhawani temple, Tulmulla in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir and Chakreshwar Shrine at Hari Parbhat, Srinagar.
A large number of devotees participated in these hawans which were held for world peace. They were served prashad after puranhauti.
The hawans were performed under the supervision of M L Durani president pf the Committee while Jai Krishan Khar and Ram Krishan Koul recited the Vedic hymns during the hawans.
