JAMMU, Jan 8: Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Bhawan police today returned wallet containing important documents and cash to its owner hailing from Madhya Pradesh who had lost it.
Police recovered the wallet carrying Rs 4020 in cash and important documents from Gate No. 3 and made an announcement about its recovery through the loudspeakers.
A pilgrim Ram Singh Tomar son of Hari Mohan Singh Tomar, a resident of village Endori Ghod in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh approached SHO Bhawan Police Station Inspector Rajesh Sharma and gave details of cash and other items in the wallet.
After proper verification, police returned wallet to Tomar along with the cash.
