KATRA, May 17: Bhawan Police today arrested two thieves and recovered the money, which they had stolen by pickpocketing a pilgrim on way to the Shrine.
The pilgrim, namely Asureya Parkash Rao of Andhra Pradesh had lodged a written complaint in PS Bhawan that two Pithus stole his purse containing rupees 1700 when he was on way to Bhawan.
Acting swiftly, Bhawan Police, led by SHO Rajesh Sharma started investigation and arrested the thieves, identified as Shabir Ahmed and Altaf Ahmed of Sildhar Mahore. Police also recovered stolen money from their possession.
