JAMMU, Dec 21: State president of the NCP and former minister, Thakur Randhir Singh has inducted Ashok Bhat as State vice president and incharge Kashmiri Migrant Cell of the party and Bharat Kumar as State secretary.
The appointments were made by the State chief of the NCP in consultation with the Central high command. Bhat, a social activist will also be incharge of Kashmiri Migrant Cell.
Singh said State NCP will contest coming Municipal as well as Panchayat elections and for this he will be forming Election Committee and preference will be given to youth, women, honest and educated people.
Others who attended the meeting included Krishan Kumar Digra, RC Bali, Abhimanyu, Pratap Singh Jamwal, Bansi Lal Sodhi, Abdul Mustafa, Mohd Akbar Ali, Udit Baru, Rezban Choudhary and Adv Rohit Balwal.
