Bhartiya Yog Sansthan’s 3-day long Shiver begins at Gole Gujral

JAMMU, Nov 23: Bhartiya Yog Sansthan today inaugurated three days Akhil Bharatiya Pranayam Prashikshan Shiver at its Yog Ashram, Gole Gujral, near here. A total of 620 Yog Adhikaries spread across the length and breadth of the country, representing 19 states, are participating in the Shiver three day long shiver which started this morning.
Yog Acharya, Jawahar Lal, president Bhartiya Yog Sansthan inaugurated the Shiver.
Yog Acharya Desh Raj Ji, general secretary, said that Bhartiya Yog Sansthan is a non-sectarian, apolitical, social, cultural and non-profit making organization, serving the humanity/aspirants both within and outside India for more than 52 years now through a network of over 3500 Kendras. The Organization has dedicated itself to the cause of teaching Yoga to people free of any cost. The mission “Jio aur Jivan do” is aimed at making people happy and healthy through Yoga, an ancient Indian science for physical, mental and spiritual well-being, he added.
In J&K, Bhartiya Yog Sanathan, Gole Gujral, Jammu is running 110 Yoga Sadhana Kendras in and around Jammu. Yoga at these centers is taught free of cost daily by expert volunteers (Shikshaks) of the Sanathan. These classes are attended by a large number of people, both men and women, of all age groups on regular basis.
He further said that intricacies and delicacies of pranayama sill be taught to the Senior Yog Adikaries from different states, who are attending this special Shiver. Also Patanjali Yog Shastra first Chapter (Samadhi Khand) will be deliberated in detail.
