Bhardwaj flays Central Govt over Pak firing

ARNIA, June 7: Senior Congress leader and AICC member, Mohinder Bhardwaj has expressed concern over safety of lives and properties of people living on International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC).
In a handout he said few days back Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing in Arnia and adjoining border villages to stall the ongoing construction work there.
Bhardwaj, during a tour of these villages enquired about the well-being of the people and damages suffered in Pak firing and said that Pakistan army specifically targeted local labourers working to construct a pathway undertaken by the local Panchayat.
He claimed failure of Central government to check Pakistan’s evil designs.
The Congress leader also said that pronouncements of BJP leaders to teach Pakistan a lesson have turned out to be lies after elections.
He said that Congress, as per the directions of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, would continue to provide relief material to the needy people.
Bhardwaj was accompanied by Ashok Dubey and others during the tour.
