JAMMU, Apr 25: In order to connect to agricultural customers, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) Jammu conducted a “Kissan Mela” at its Rural Outlet under name and style of M/s Sri Chander Petro, located at village Ghou Manhasa.
Under the banner of KRISHIUTSOV, the farmers and local customers were invited at RO.
The event was graced by presence of Shyam Lal Verma Naib Tehsildar Marh. The other officials present at the event were Madhu Agricultural Officer, Ghou Manhasa, Monika Agricultural Officer, Marh, Charanjeet Singh Manager J&K Bank Pouni Chak and Sameer Qayoom Manager Sales, BPCL Jammu. Besides many prominent citizens and customer present on the occasion were Pushpinder Singh Manhas, Tara Singh Chib, Shyam Lal Manhas and Veer Singh Manhas.
The event kick started with taking of pledge of “SAKSHAM 2022”, which is a fortnight campaign being conducted under the banner of PCRA for conservation of petroleum resources. Afterwards the core message of SAKSHAM 2022 was conveyed by Manager Sales BPCL Jammu to gathering alongwith ways and means of conservation of petroleum resources and need of enhancing usage of renewable resources of energy.
Subsequently under main theme of KRISHIUTSOV, Madhu and Monika apprised the gathering about different scheme being run by Government for developments of agriculture and thereby prosperity of farmers.
Charanjeet Singh, Manager J&K Bank apprised the gathering about various financing schemes being provided by J&K Bank to farmers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sameer Qayoom, Manager Sales BPCL Jammu apprised the gathering about different facilities apart from fueling being provided to its valued customers at subject retail outlet, which include FINO Banking/Micro ATM Facilities, clean drinking water, Free Air, and neat and clean toilets. He also informed the customers about different grades of MAK lubricants available at the outlet, which are specially meant for agricultural machinery like tractors, combines, tillers, etc.
