‘Bharat Darshan’ tour of J&K students flagged in

JAMMU, Jan 10: The ten-day ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour of a group of students from various schools of district Jammu was flagged in today at headquarters of 160 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Jammu.
The tour was flagged off on the evening of January 1 from Battalion headquarters in Jammu by KD Joshi, Commandant, 160 Battalion, CRPF in the presence of other senior officers of the battalion.
During the tour, the students were shown famous places of Bhuvaneshwar such as Raja Raji Temple, Mukteshwari Temple, Khandgiri, Udeygiri Jain Cave, Golden Triangle, Surya Temple and Jagannath Temple.
The special part of the tour was that the entire distance from Jammu to Bhuvaneshwar and back was covered via train. The group started their backwards journey on January 8 and reached back here at headquarters of 160 Battalion CRPF this morning, where they were welcomed by senior officers of the Battalion.
The students of the tour were also awarded certificates by the Commandant of the Battalion. The tour was organized under Civic Action Programme of CRPF.
