JAMMU, June 9: All India Kashmiri Hindu Forum (AIKHF) and All Displaced Kashmiri Forum in a meeting at Durga Nagar here today held under the chairmanship of D N Kissu, appointed Rattan Lal Bhan former Apex Committee member as the new chairman of the Forum.
The members present in the meeting assured full cooperation to Mr Bhan for welfare of the people. The meeting expressed grave concern over the power crisis. The meeting in an appeal to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah sought his intervention in the matter. It urged him to visit Jammu to monitor the situation and issue on spot directives to the authorities so that the crisis are averted.
Later Mr Bhan appointed Mr Kissu as advisor of the Forum in view of his services to the Forum as its chairman till date. Inder Krishan Mattoo and Sanjay Bhan were appointed as general secretary of forum and president of its youth wing respectively.
