Bhagat urges LG to address issues of Khidmat Centre Association

JAMMU, Sept 1: Seeking intervention of Lieutenant Governor (LG), Manoj Sinha towards long pending genuine demands of the Khidmat Centres Association members, former Minister and senior BJP leader, Bali Bhagat today said that demands of these agitating youth must be fulfilled. He urged the Lt Governor to personally intervene in the matter and direct the authorities to solve their problems as early as possible.
This morning a deputation of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Khidmat Centre Association led by Vikram Sudan met Bali Bhagat here and apprised him about the callous attitude of J&K Bank in addressing their genuine demands. Bhagat after hearing problems of the deputation assured them that he will try his level best to address their issues.
Bhagat, while talking to the Khidmat Centre employees said that the Government as well as the J&K Bank administration should not adopt an apathetic approach in fulfilling their demands.
Seeking personal intervention of the LG to solve this issue on humanitarian grounds, Bhagat appealed to the LG to formulate a comprehensive plan to address the issues of Khidmat Centre employees. Bhagat further said that Khidmat Centres should be rehabilitated on a permanent basis. An exhaustive job policy should be framed by Lt. Governor to save the future of highly educated youth of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, Bhagat added.
He said that the future of 1000 professionals was at the stake due to the non-serious attitude of the Government and it was high-time to solve their problems once for all.
