JAMMU, Mar 27: MLA RS Pura and political advisor to State BJP president, Dr Gagan Bhagat today started various developmental works in RS Pura constituency.
At village Rattian, a 250 KVA transformer while at village Kothey Salehar, he inaugurated a lane and drain.
While addressing a gathering at the Mandir Chowk of village Rattian, the MLA announced installation of one Mark-II Deep bore hand pump besides a water supply scheme in the area.
At village Koulan, Dr Bhagat announced construction of a shed on cremation ground while at village Draptey he inaugurated two developmental works, the first being RBM filling and the other construction of drainage channel at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakhs.
Dr Bhagat also inaugurated the construction of new building of Government High School at village Jinder Mehlu under RMSA.
Later in the day, Dr Bhagat held an open public darbar at Ward No 8 of RS Pura Municipal Committee in which he gave a patient hearing to several problems faced by the residents.
