JAMMU, June 1: Dr.Gagan Bhagat MLA from RS Pura succeeded in getting much awaited Critical Care Ambulance and Automatic Blood Analyser for Community Health Centre RS Pura.
While talking to the Media persons Dr Gagan Bhagat said that the Critical Care Ambulance and the Automatic Blood Analyser will help the serious patients in this border hospital, the ambulance will save many lives as there are many cases in which the patient died on their way to GMC Jammu due to lack of critical care ambulance facility. The ambulance will cost between 10 to 12 lakh and the blood testing analyser between 6 to 8 lakh, and the same has been sanctioned under the BADP, he added.
He said the previous Government had used the BADP funds for maximum construction of lanes and drains in which there is a chance of corruption, now the funds which are provided by the Union Government for the betterment of the people living in the border area will be utilized in a better and efficient way so that these people living on border get the basic facilities especially in the health sector.
Dr Gagan Bhagat further said that the medicines and other diagnostic facilities at the CHC RS Pura hospital will be available to the general public and has asked to contact him or his office if the staff refused for the same, he added that the Government is very soon bringing the Free Drug Policy for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, which will be a historical gift especially to the poor people.
Talking about the 50 bedded hospital Dr Gagan Bhagat said that the hospital will be opened for the general public before December 31 this year, and he has been continuously monitoring the pace of work in the said hospital himself.
