JAMMU, Dec 10: BJP State president Ravinder Raina today expelled party leader and former MLA RS Pura, Gagan Bhagat from the party with immediate effect for continued “anti-party and anti-Jammu” activities.
A BJP handout said Raina expelled Bhagat from the party with immediate effect as he neither followed instructions of the Disciplinary Committee nor showed the discipline expected from a member of the BJP.
Raina said he took note of the report of Disciplinary Committee of the BJP on the issue of “indiscipline and immorality” of Dr Bhagat, which was submitted to the party president on July 19 before ordering expulsion of the former MLA from the party.
