DODA, Aug 28: District administration under the chairmanship of DDC, Bhupinder Kumar held a preliminary meeting with all the district officers in connection with the celebration of Bhaderwah Tourism-cum-Cultural Festival.
Bhaderwah tourism festival is a regular event organized by Bhaderwah Development Authority which provides a platform to depict natural beauty, multi-cultural heritage of Bhaderwah region. The event also provides a suitable stage to attract large number of visitors and boost tourism potential of the area through cultural events and performances by reputed Bollywood celebrities.
It was decided in the meeting that the festival will be held on September 09 and 10.
Issues pertaining to the maintenance of road, sanitation, cleanliness and illumination of the town, provision of electricity and drinking water on the venue, organization of cultural events, installation of stalls, security and traffic management, besides arrangements for accommodation of the VVIPs and others important issues were discussed thoroughly in the meeting.
