KATHUA, Oct 20: BJP national vice-president and J&K Prabhari, Avinash Rai Khanna today said that Block Development Council (BDCs) poll are going to act as catalyst of development for rural and far flung areas neglected for 70 long years by the successive Abdullah and Mufti dynasties with the patronage of Gandhi dynasty at New Delhi. This has resulted in continuous loot of valuable resources of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, Khanna added while addressing various organisational meetings in connection with BDC elections at Samba, Kathua and Ghagwal.
Khanna was also accompanied by former ministers Chander Prakash Ganga and Rajiv Jasrotia, district president, Jangbir Singh, senior leader, Gopal Mahajan and others.
In a scathing attack on the political parties who for their vested interests are not only misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir but also whole of India, Khanna said that instead of good these politicians have done lot of harm to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that masses have outrightly rejected the doctrine of the divisive policies unleashed by Congress and its allies.
He said that now, it is a proven fact that these so-called politicians don’t enjoy support from any of the communities living in the region. This is established from the fact that not even a single person outside of these few families came in support of the detained politicians in view of their shrewd and cunning attitude.
Khanna overwhelmingly greeted all the Sarpanchs and Panchs present in the meetings for their wholehearted support and commitment to the development policies put forth by BJP. He asked them for supporting the BDC candidates contesting on BJP mandate for the true development of all those areas which were neglected till date.
Khanna further said that parties like Congress, NC, PDP have again proved that they are meant to limit the powers to their own families so they again gave a call for boycott of BDC elections. He said that BDC elections are going to be held after decades due to the sincere efforts of PM Narendra Modi led Centre Government so that people get benefited by the decentralization of all administrative power. “We must put our wholehearted effort to defeat the nefarious designs of the pseudo-mainstream parties to achieve the target of Sabka Saath -Sabka Vikas for the last man standing in the last row of the society.
