JAMMU, Oct 3: Bajrang Dal (BD) performed the Shastar Poojan at a function held at VHP Headquarters Shakti Dal here today.
The function was attended by VHP State president Leela Karan Sharma, its general secretary Dr Sham Lal Gupta, working president Hem Raj Khajuria, BD co-convener Rakesh Sharma and its other leaders Kartik Sudan, Madav Vaid, Rajesh Bhasin besides Mahant Sri Divyanand Ji Maharaj.
Speaking on the occasion Leela Karan Sharma highlighted the significance of Shastar poojan. He said that it has relevance as per Hindu mythology while making a reference to hero of Mahabharta and great warrior Arjuna.
On the occasion the Shastar poojan was performed in a traditional way and a Hawan was also solemnized which was followed by serving of prashad.
