JAMMU, Jan 21: Bajrang Dal (BD) has taken serious exception to the notice issued by State Assembly Secretariat for inclusion of five non Hindu Legislators into a team of ten MLAs assigned the task of inspection of pilgrims’ facilities at Mata Vaishno Devi helipad.
Talking to reporters here, today BD J&K Chalisa Parmukh, Rakesh Sharma said five non Hindu Legislators have been included in the 10 member Committee to inspect the helipad which is not acceptable to his organisation.
He said BD has written letters to Chief Minister, State Governor, president State BJP, BJP Legislative Party leader, MLA Katra, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi and national leaders of his organisation seeking their immediate intervention in the matter.
He said, while no Hindu is allowed to inspect the working, services and facilities of any Muslim Shrine or Waqaf Board in the State how the non Hindu members of the Legislature can interfere into the affairs of sacred Hindu Shrine Board looking after the management of holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Rajesh Sharma, Vibagh Seh-Sanyojak BD was also present in the press conference.
