BBIA organises seminar on ‘Niryat Bandhu’ for MSME outreach

JAMMU, Nov 19: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) organized a seminar in collaboration with EEPC India, DGFT & J&K Industries & Commerce Department at Jammu today in connection with PM’s MSME Outreach, `Niryat Bandhu’ initiative for the benefit of Industrial sector in Export Sector which will help to boost the economy of the State.
Lalit Mahajan, president, BBIA while welcoming the officials of EEPC India, DGFT & Director, Industries & Commerce Jammu explained the present scenario of our State in respect of Export sector. Mahajan also thanked EEPC India & DGFT for organising the first ever programme in our State which will help the Industrial units for the export of their quality finished products from our State to outside the country.
Rakesh Suraj, Regional Director, EEPC India on Global Business Opportunities in IESS -VIII highlighted the schemes and benefits provided by EEPC for the Industrial Sector which will help the Industrial units of J&K to explore their business in export sector. A power point presentation was also given which highlighted the various schemes provided by EEPC.
Nitish Suri, Dy DGFT, CLA North, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India also highlighted the role of DGFT to provide various schemes and support by the DGFT to explore the more and more possibilities for export sector from J&K and to avail the benefits being provided by Central Govt for export promotion.
Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma, Director, Industries and Commerce, J&K Govt also spoken on the occasion and suggested EEPC India & DGFT to organise more and more such seminars with the participation of large scale units also engaged in the export oriented products which will help the Industrial sector of state in respect of exploring more and more export from our State by availing the incentives granted by the State Govt.
Ashutosh Srivastava, Senior official from EEPC conducted the proceeding of the seminar while Ajay Langer, general secretary, Bari Brahmana Industries Association presented the vote of thanks.
