JAMMU, May 15: Bari Brahmana Industries Association has alleged that due to worst quality of BSNL service, the people of the industrial area are facing lot of problems.
In a meeting of the Association held here to-day under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan, president BBIA the members expressed serious concern over the attitude of neglect of the BSNL authorities. They pointed out that due to poor quality of land line and mobile phone services of BSNL in the Industrial complex, the members of the industry are facing lot of difficulties.
Member present in the meeting raised serious concern about the frequent disturbance in the mobile as well as land line service due to which the internet service remains affected during the working hours.
They said these days most of the work depends on internet services and mobile phones but the service of BSNL Network is so bad that while on discussing important issues on mobile, the signal snaps frequently aggravating problems of the unit holders and staff. There is so much distortion that it is impossible to talk with each other. Even the broad band connection for Internet is always a problem in Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex as it is usually not working through out day and gets break.
There is only one BSNL tower in whole Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex, which is insufficient to provide better quality service to the customer using BSNL mobile phone. As industrialist are major paymasters to Telecom sector, on the contrary services to this sector is being ignored by the department. The signal of the mobile is not proper from last four/five months in the complex, due to which it is impossible to contact the persons when it is urgent. The department did not take this matter seriously.
It was further decided in the meeting that if the department did not take an appropriate action to solve this problem, all the members of BBIA will surrender their SIM cards to department.
BBIA requested the Chief General Manager of BSNL to look into the matter urgently to resolve the issue.
